The Mitsubishi Pajero is a great 4x4 that is extremely underrated. Some basic modifications such as a suspension lift, offroad tyres and a good set of bash plates and the Pajero is turned in to a very competent offroad vehicle. Installing a set of our bash plates to your Mitsubishi Pajero will give you the protection you can rely on when you need it. Quality bash plates really are cheap insurance.

The factory fitted intercooler and sump guard on the Pajero are not designed for off road conditions, unfortunately the front intercooler guard is only made from this light duty steel and there is only about 10mm (at the closest point) between this guard and the very expensive intercooler. The factory sump guard is only made from plastic and is easily broken by sticks let alone be able to adequately protect the expensive components when offroad. If you plan on going four wheel driving or touring then installing a strong high quality set of bash plates should be first on the list!

*3 Year warranty cover insures the guards are free of manufacturing and coating defects not caused by shipping, poor handling or damage arising from normal wear and tear. For example if a guard is damaged while 4x4ing over time one should expect that corrosion will occur if the bare material is exposed; but this should remain isolated to the exposed area and not result in the coating flaking off etc.
